Daniel Hamilton

Welcome to my website. Muito bem vindo.

This page will not be regularly updated but is intended to act as an informal portal for blog pieces and articles I have written for various websites and publications.

I am a regular contributor to ConservativeHome’s CentreRight blog, sometimes write about international affairs for PoliticalBetting and am an occasional contributor to Public Affairs News on European affairs. I'm also a Runnymede Borough councillor and sit on the Executive of Conservative Way Forward.

I was praised in the Total Politics Guide to the 2010 General Election for displaying “remarkable, encyclopaedic knowledge“, described by the UK's most-read political website (PoliticalBetting) as someone who “knows a thing or two about international politics”, called "heroic" by Daniel Hannan and derided by the Conservatives4Palin as a “self proclaimed expert” who “goes to dinner parties in DC and North London”. Make your own mind up which of those descriptions you agree with!

If, like me, you're sad enough to use Twitter, you can find me @danielrhamilton.

I've yet to find an aspect of politics or international affairs I am not interested in - or wouldn't like to learn more about. If you'd like to get in touch with me I can be reached by 'phone on +44 7810 785924 or by e-mail at dan(-AT-)danhamilton.co.uk. Do get in touch; if only to rant.

Please note: Any views expressed are entirely personal and do not reflect the opinion or formal position of any group or organisation I am am member of or am employed by etc.
